Welcome to Kindergarten! This is a list of supplies that we will be using throughout the school year. All of our supplies are combined at the beginning of the year and used as community supplies. There are, however, a few select items that we have specified for you to label with your child’s name. We strongly encourage bringing all supplies with you to Meet the Teacher so that we may prepare the classroom for a successful first day!

 

¨ 4 boxes of Crayola crayons (24 count)

¨ 16 glue sticks

¨ 1 box of black Expo dry erase markers

¨ 1 pack of Ticonderoga #2 pencils (pre-sharpened)

¨ 1 pack of white index cards (100 count 3x5”)

¨ 2 white 1” three-ring binders (with Clear Sleeve Cover)

¨ 2 paper folders with three-prongs and pockets (Solid Colors Only)

¨ 2 Primary Composition/Journal (drawing space at top and primary lines)

¨ 2 large container of baby wipes

¨ 1 box of facial tissue

¨ 1 bottle of hand sanitizer (7-12 oz.)

¨ 1 bottle of anti-bacterial soap

¨ 1 container of Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

¨ 3 reams of white copy paper (letter size)

¨ 1 box of quart size Ziploc Bags – Boys ONLY

¨ 1 box of gallon size Ziploc Bags –Girls ONLY

 

Supplies with your child’s NAME written on them (please use permanent marker)

¨ 1 full-size Backpack (NO rolling backpacks) – Bring on 1st day of school (not Meet the Teacher)

¨ 1 three-ring clear pencil pouch

¨ 1 pair of Fiskar Scissors

¨ 1 plastic pencil box (standard size)

¨ (2) 1 white 3 ring binders with pockets and clear pocket front

¨ 2 - 12 pack of SHARPENED pencils (Ticonderoga)

¨ 1 wide ruled composition book

¨ 2 spiral notebooks (1 red, 1 fun of your choice)

¨ 12 Elmer’s glue sticks (we use at least 1 per month)

¨ 3 reams of copy paper

¨ 1 boxes of tissue

¨ 1 container of Disinfecting Wipes (like Clorox or Lysol)

¨ 1 container of baby wipes

 

Please have the following items available at home for homework or other take home projects. It is also a good idea to have extras on hand if supplies need to be replenished at school as the year progresses.

All students need a backpack and lunch box daily. If you need to keep food items cold, please include an ice pack in your child’s lunchbox.

 

Items such as Lysol spray and wipes are used daily. If you’d like to donate more than the amount listed above, that would be helpful! J

 

Please send in a change of clothes in a gallon size Ziploc bag with your child’s name labeled on the outside.

 

If your child wears diapers, please send enough each week including wipes as the wipes listed above will not be used for diapering. Diapers that have easy open sides are preferred.

Specific items your child will need daily: Please send in a snack daily; snack time is very motivating and a lot of learning is done at this time 1 bag of extra clothes to leave at school (including socks and underwear) labeled with child’s name.
