Calling All Andover Families, Friends & Community Partners, Teach-In is Coming-Wednesday, November 19, 2025

 

We're excited to announce our upcoming Andover Teach-In Day, a special opportunity to bring real-world experiences and community wisdom into our classrooms!

 

We're currently seeking volunteers to share their knowledge, passions, and professional journeys with our students through 

• Virtual presentations: Read or speak to a class or group about your career or area of expertise.
• These sessions must be arranged by an OCPS employee (teacher or staff), who will set up the link using the school’s preferred platform (e.g., Microsoft Teams, WebEx) and remain present throughout the presentation.
• Community Showcases: Highlight unique skills, cultural traditions, or educational insights that inspire learning.
• Pre-Recorded Videos: Share a short, engaging video we can play in classrooms or schoolwide. 

 

Your voice can spark curiosity, broaden horizons, and help students dream big.  Let's show our learners the many paths they can take!

 

We invite our Andover Learners to have a Career Dress-Up Day on Teach-In Day!  Wear attire that represents your future career or your interests. 

 

Are you interested?  Be a “Teacher for a Day” during

• Join community leaders, educators, school administrators,

parents, students and thousands of volunteers.

• Talk to students about your career, your hobbies or your

educational experiences.

• Learn what it’s like to be a student in a 21st century classroom.
